The MSUB Volleyball Team is a member of the Great Northwest Athletic Conference, an elite conference in NCAA Division II athletics. The Yellowjacket volleyball program has a proud tradition of success. In 2006 the Yellowjackets were Heartland Conference Champions and earned a berth to the NCAA Championship tournament.
In 2007 MSUB joined the GNAC and immediately made a splash with a 10-8 conference record. After a 7-23 outing in the 2008 season the Yellowjackets rebounded in 2009 with 17 wins and a 10-6 conference record. In addition, MSUB volleyball player Devon Crotteau was named All-American, a first for the Yellowjacket Volleyball program.
